My grandfather loved Danish design. He passed these values to my parents. I grew up around furniture that was chosen once and never replaced. That shaped how I see objects. Not as things, but as decisions.

I studied product design, worked in the industry, and watched craft disappear. Mass production had replaced intention with volume, quality with speed. I started RENSE to make what was missing: objects simple in form, honest in material, made in small numbers by hand.

Every piece is designed in the Netherlands and produced locally in limited editions. No more than 30 of each object per year. Each one is finished by hand in my studio.

I don’t design for trends. I design for people who believe what they own should say something true about who they are.
